WHAT WE OFFER

Eligible small businesses using less than or equal to 110 kW per month can receive up to 60% of the cost of electric equipment rebates which will be covered through our Small Business Program. Gas only customers with usage less than or equal to 5,000 therms are eligible for gas equipment rebates.

The Small Business Rebate program offers flexible payment options. The rebate can be mailed to the utility customer on record, the installer, or a third party with the customer’s approval. When applying, indicate which option you prefer. The customer receives email confirmation regardless of who is paid and is always informed. 

Yes! The program is administered by Franklin Energy Services and they have Energy Advisors across the state who can walk you through the application process or work with contractors to submit the rebate application on your behalf. Please contact us at 888.316.8023 or by email at cienergysavings@franklinenergy.com and we can connect you to an Energy Advisor near you. 

Interested business can enroll by contacting a program representative at 888.316.8023 or by emailing us at cienergysavings@franklinenergy.com. Applications must be submitted through our Online Application Portal. You can also ask your contractor to apply on your behalf! 

The Small Business Program is open to small business customers with NYSEG/RG&E electricity service that have an electricity demand of less than an average of 110 kilowatts (kW) per month. The Small Business Program is also open to customers with NYSEG/RG&E natural gas service that have an annual gas demand of 5,000 Therms or less.

Participants of the Small Business Program may choose any installer they prefer or even self-install if capable. To find a qualified contractor near you, use our Find a Contractor tool to search for Trade Allies near you.

Yes, any project that saves energy is potentially eligible for a rebate. If your project includes technologies not included in the Small Business Rebate Catalog, your project may be eligible for a rebate through our Commercial and Industrial Rebate Program, which is administered by the same team.
