RG&E Joining City of Rochester and Community Partners for Outreach Caravan
Part of Choose Wisdom Community Uplift
Event focuses on supporting families and residents
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — September 15, 2025 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) is working with the City of Rochester and community leaders for an Outreach Caravan on September 17 and 18. It’s part of the Choose Wisdom event, which provides support to families, schools, and residents through local resources.
RG&E will join the Rochester Police Department, Rochester Fire Department, and the City’s Office of Violence Prevention, canvassing the Lyell Avenue neighborhood, engaging with residents about vital services available to them.
RG&E representatives will educate customers about the benefits of smart meters and tools such as Energy Manager, which can help them manage their energy use as the fall and winter months approach.
