Frequently Asked Questions

You'll need to contact RG&E, or contact your online billing service provider as well as RG&E. You can contact our RG&E Customer Relations Center at 800.743.2110, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If you have multiple accounts, RG&E has automatically grouped them for you. Once you create your secure Login ID and password, you will be able to access all of your accounts when you log in. If you have authorized people to access your accounts, they can create their own Login IDs and passwords as authorized users and only access the accounts that you've given them permission to see.

To retrieve your username, go to the log in page, then click the “forgot Your Login ID” link. Follow the prompts to retrieve your Login ID. Regretfully, at this time, the Login ID initially selected cannot be changed.

To retrieve your password, go to the log in page, then click the “Forgot Your Password?” link. Follow the prompts to reset your password. In order to change your password, log in to your account. Once you are logged in, select your account number if needed. Then, click the “Profile” tab near the top of the page. Click the “Edit” button in the “Change Password” box. Follow the prompts to change your password.

Our online Energy Library has links to frequently requested information for your home. We also offer select energy use and safety materials in Spanish. You can also view the current and past issues of EnergyLines, our bill insert newsletter.

You can select either RG&E or an ESCO as your suppler at any time. Please note, if you agree to purchase your electricity supply from an ESCO, you may incur a fee for ending your agreement early. Check with your ESCO prior to any switch.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening electricity emergency, please call 911 immediately. Otherwise, please contact us at 800.743.1701 for electricity outages or trouble, or use our online form.

If your power is out you can report it online or by calling 800.743.1701.
