Online Application
All applications for generator and energy storage interconnections to utility distribution facilities sized 5 MW and smaller are required to follow the NYS Standardized Interconnection Requirements (SIR) document. The latest version can be found on the NYS Department of Public Service website: NYS PSC Distributed Generation Information.
Be sure to include all the necessary information with your application for fastest review and processing. We have listed the general requirements . For more detail, you can visit the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) website dedicated to distributed generation projects: access to the PSC website.
Once you have submitted your application, you can view your status online via a secure Login ID.
An applicant proposing a hybrid project or stand-alone ESS shall complete Appendix K and upload via B or C as applicable.
