Want the convenience of credit card payment for your RG&E bill?
RG&E customers can now make payments by credit card using a third party pay agent. If you wish to use this service, click here to access our pay agent's secure Web site to make your payment today!
A nominal convenience fee will be added by our pay agent to the total amount of your payment. You will be able to accept or decline the payment after the total amount is calculated. Once you accept the payment amount, the pay agent will provide your payment – minus the convenience fee – to RG&E. Please allow up to three days for processing.

You can pay by clicking here and following the prompts.
Can I pay by credit card anytime?
Yes - it's available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What do I need to pay by credit card?
Have your RG&E bill, your 11-digit account number and credit card information handy.
Can I make a payment on an RG&E account that is not in my name?
Yes, as long as we have your complete credit card information, including the name on the credit card, the amount you wish to pay and the RG&E account you are paying, you're set.
Is there a fee for using this payment option?
Yes, the payment agent charges a service fee of $5.95. RG&E does not receive any portion of the service fee.
Why am I charged a fee to use my credit card?
Credit card providers charge fees to merchants and pay agents for the ability to accept payments. Most merchants embed this fee in the price of their product or service. RG&E's Public Service Commission-approved rates, however, do not allow us to include the fee in your bill. The pay agent accepting the credit card payment on our behalf, therefore, charges the fee. RG&E does not receive any portion of this fee.
When will my payment be posted to my account?
You should allow three business days for payment to be posted to your account. To avoid a late payment charge, please make your payment at least three business days before the "Last Day to Pay" date shown on page one of your bill.
