RG&E’s Residential Natural Gas Equipment Rebate program is no longer accepting applications

State Funding and Energy Savings Targets Were Met in Early 2010

Thanks to unprecedented efforts of contractors and overwhelming customer response, RG&E’s Residential Natural Gas Equipment Rebate program achieved state funding and energy savings targets in early 2010. As a result, RG&E is only be able to accept completed applications (accompanied by paid receipts) postmarked on or before February 28, 2010.

In a notice filed with the NYS Public Service Commission (PSC), RG&E has indicated that the company is very receptive to continuing or reopening the program.
