Commercial & Industrial Demand Response

Our commercial and industrial demand response programs are designed to reduce electricity consumption during periods of peak use from May 1 to September 30, which will help maintain system reliability in your community and potentially lead to lower electricity prices. Both programs offer two participation and payment options to match your desired level of commitment and benefit.

Commercial System Relief Program (CSRP)

This program gives you advance notice to reduce your energy consumption for planned Events and provides compensation for participation. Events occur on weekdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Distribution Load Relief Program (DLRP)

This program is available to select customers in parts of our electric service area. Eligible customers receive compensation for participation. Events can occur from 6 a.m. to midnight for a minimum of 4 hours any day of the week.  Please note: We have pending draft tariff changes to eliminate the DLRP for the summer curtailment season.

The 2019 curtailment season starts May 1, 2019.  Enroll by April 1, 2019 to be eligible to participate at the start of the 2019 curtailment season.
