Redesigned Web Site Offers RG&E Customers "Convenience With a Click"

Rochester, NY, 8/25/04 – Just about everything a RG&E customer needs or wants to know about their electricity and natural gas service is just a click away at the redesigned rge.com.

“We’ve invested considerable time and energy to make the Web site easier to navigate. We’ve also tried to make the services that are most important to our customers prominent on the site,” said Terri Turner, vice president-customer service. “Our new Web site certainly offers our customers convenience with a click!”

At rge.com, customers can view their account history, send us their meter readings, access information on using energy wisely, and even receive and pay their bills. And, beginning in October, customers will be able to make their electricity supply choice for the next year online.

“We encourage our customers to visit our Web site and do business with us – at their convenience – through the site, Turner said. “At the same time we continue to offer personal service to our customers by phone.”
